1994 to 2009. Under construction. The gif still loops in your head.

## Why it lasted
- Neighborhoods of amateur HTML. The first time a lot of people had a URL.

## Near deaths
- Yahoo bought it and did not know how to love it. MySpace and then real hosting took the builders.

## What would finish it
- Yahoo, 26 Oct 2009. The Archive and Archive Team saved what they could. The neighborhoods are a memory.
