## Why it lasted
- It taught small business what an email campaign was, with a chimp and a free tier.
- Intuit bought it. The logo is still on a thousand footers.

## Near deaths
- The Intuit acquisition and the price/UX drift. ConvertKit, Beehiiv, Loops, and 'just use Buttondown' took the tasteful slice.

## What would finish it
- Intuit milking it while the creators leave. In progress.
