Aaron Patzer, 2007. Killed 23 Mar 2024. A reminder that a 'free' money app has a landlord.

## Why it lasted
- Free budgeting by selling your attention to banks. It worked until Intuit had Credit Karma.

## Near deaths
- Intuit bought it in 2009 and spent 15 years as a confused roommate to TurboTax.

## What would finish it
- Intuit shut it down in 2024 and pointed users at Credit Karma. The export was the funeral.
