## Why it lasted
- It is a search engine for wanting things, especially for people who do not want Twitter energy.
- Wedding, recipe, home, fashion: verticals with money and patience.
- The grid did not try to become a video firehose as fast as everyone else. That looked dated. It also looked like Pinterest.

## Near deaths
- Every 'Pinterest for X' and then TikTok as visual search. The intent graph (saving, not scrolling) held a niche.

## What would finish it
- Google images / shopping actually becoming a moodboard, plus AI generating the board so you never save. Watch the save button.
