# old.reddit

Hollow (zombie). Founded 2005-06-23.
Site: [old.reddit.com](https://old.reddit.com)

Not a separate company. A ghost interface that refuses to die. Listed because the clock is the point.

## Why it lasted
- A URL that pins the 2014 interface. Power users treat it as the actual product.

## Near deaths
- Reddit has threatened to kill it for years. Each redesign makes old.reddit more load-bearing.

## What would finish it
- Reddit turning it off. That is a switch, not a market.
