Allan Odgaard, 2004. The Mac editor that taught the next Mac editors.

## Why it lasted
- Bundles and the 'editor for Mac OS X' myth. Sublime and VS Code are the children.
- 2.0 eventually shipped. That is a zombie success.

## Near deaths
- The lost years between 1.x and 2.0. The community forked the idea into everything else.

## What would finish it
- Allan Odgaard stopping. The format already lived on in other editors.
