Panic, 1998. Still the velvet rope of file transfer on a Mac.

## Why it lasted
- Panic makes Mac software like objects. Transmit is the FTP client as a piece of furniture.
- Designers and shops still have it because it is the nice way to talk to a bucket.

## Near deaths
- Cyberduck is free. Transmit is Panic. A certain customer will always pay for Panic.

## What would finish it
- Cabel and Steven stopping. The company is the moat.
