## Why it lasted
- A board you can see across the room. The metaphor is the product.
- Atlassian bought it and did not fully Jira-ify the first screen.

## Near deaths
- Every kanban clone, then Notion, then Linear. Trello became the starter board you outgrow.

## What would finish it
- Atlassian burying it, plus the starter teams being born in Notion. Slow, not sudden.
