What counts
Only the 110 written-up products that are still running are in the count, and each one is dated from its founding, not from a relaunch or a Product Hunt listing. The oldest, on the leaderboard, started in 1971; the newest were founded this decade. Products that have closed are on the closed list and are left out here, because the question is what is still going.
